Notice in the before photo that the roofing on the small side room
was built with a "wrap around" skylight and a flat metal roof.
The original flat metal roof caused on-going battles with water leaks over the years
while the skylight proved to be cold, drafty and a water leakage culprit as well.
The wrap around skylight was replaced with a fixed triple pained Pella window.
